PNG Patch for IE
Since IE6 doesn’t render PNG-24 properly, the following hack is required in order to display the transparent PNG (add anywhere in between the <head>
tag):
<!--[if lt IE 7]>
<style>
h1 span {
background: none;
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='gradient.png', sizingMethod='scale');
}
</style>
<![endif]-->

Спечели ме за каузата!! :) Добра идея, аз също мразя div clear:both подхода.
Някоя друга идея?

If you have two floating divs in one div and you want to make a border around them, use the following technique
div.container {
border: 1px solid #000000;
overflow: hidden;
width: 100%;
}
